Dear fellow activists,

We are happy to announce our participation to the Global Women* Strike and we warmly invite you to join us!

The strike is organised by ENOUGH! GENUG! — an open movement of women* who are standing together against patriarchal structures and working for equality, visibility, dignity, climate protection, the preservation of our planet, and a just way of living together.

We have had ENOUGH! of violence, discrimination, exploitation, and inequality.

It is time to remember that women* make up 49.7% of the world’s population. We can create change. Strong women* before us already knew this. We take inspiration from them — from Lysistrata to the women’s strike in Iceland in 1975, when Icelandic women* brought the country to a standstill for one day, setting off major social and legal changes in women’s lives.

On March 9, 2026, women* around the world will stop paid and unpaid work and show how indispensable our work is — we will withdraw our labor from this system for one day.
